Last updated: 4 January 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the NiaEducation WhatsApp-based teaching toolnand any related services (the “Service”), operated by Nia Education Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who the Service is for

The Service is intended for teachers, educators, and educational institutions.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent, guardian, or school.

The Service is not intended for general consumer chat or non-educational use.

2. How the Service works

The Service provides teaching support (such as lesson planning assistance, explanations, and classroom ideas) via WhatsApp.

You interact with the Service by sending messages through WhatsApp. Messages are processed by our systems and service providers to generate responses.

The Service relies on automated systems and may not always produce accurate, complete, or appropriate results.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service responsibly and only for lawful, educational purposes.

You must not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Share illegal, harmful, abusive, or discriminatory content
  • Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse the Service
  • Rely on the Service for professional, medical, legal, or financial advice

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Student and third-party information

If you share information about students or other third parties, you confirm that you have the right to do so.

Please minimise personal data and avoid sharing identifiable student information where possible (e.g., use “Student A”). Do not share highly sensitive information unless necessary.

Schools and educators remain responsible for complying with applicable student data protection laws.

5. AI limitations and no guarantees

The Service uses artificial intelligence and may produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information.

  • The Service is provided for support and assistance only
  • You remain responsible for lesson plans, teaching decisions, and classroom use
  • You should independently review and verify outputs before relying on them

We do not guarantee that the Service will be accurate, error-free, or always available.

6. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including during pilot or testing phases.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or specific response times.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and content (excluding your messages), is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Privacy and data protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described in that policy.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • you violate these Terms
  • required by law or platform rules
  • necessary to protect the Service or other users

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that should survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nia Education Ltd will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or educational outcomes arising from your use of the Service.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be lawfully excluded.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local laws apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you via the Service.
